Estherville – Funeral services for Palmer [Theodore] Paulson, 79, of Estherville will be Fri. Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church south of Gruver with the Rev. Jane Johnston officiating. Burial will be at High Lake Township Cemetery, Wallingford. He died Wed. Aug. 12, 1998 at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.
He was born Sept. 27, 1918 in Estherville the son of Peter and Tillie (Sorum) Paulson.
He farmed the family farm most of his life. He has been a resident of Good Samaritan Care Center since Feb. 18, 1993.
He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, south of Gruver.
Surviving are six nephews, Marlin Paulson of Armstrong; Arnold Paulson of Minneapolis; Richard Paulson of Carthage, Mo.; Ernest Paulson of Branson, Mo.; Eugene Paulson of Estherville; and Gary Paulson of Rapid City, S.D.; four nieces, Aileen Rienhardt, Tyler, Tex.; Marion Paulson of Branson, Mo.; Mrs. Roger (Pauline) Solberg of Ringsted; and Mrs. Butch (Karen) Thackery of Armstrong.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 13, 1998)
