Estherville – Services for Kearny Leland Paulson, 71, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural Estherville with Pastor Michael Benett officiating. Interment will be in High Lake Cemetery.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday.

He was born Oct. 17, 1916 in Swan Lake Township, Emmet County, Iowa, the son of Peter and Tilda (Sorum) Paulson. He attended Bolsted Country School. On Feb. 22, 1939 he was united in marriage with Florence Engholm at Estherville. He farmed until 1966 when he moved into Estherville and worked for a concrete company, Wadco Foots and Fagre’s Construction until his retirement. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Estherville.

Survivors include two sons: Eugene, Estherville and Gary, Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother Palmer Paulson, Ringsted,
