Gakona, Alaska – Mrs. Dale (Lorraine) Richard, 68, of Gakona, formerly of Estherville, died Saturday, July 20, 1996 in Alaska.

Lorraine Kroenke, daughter of Albert and Anna Kroenke, was born in Emmet County. She attended Estherville Schools. On May 19, 1945 she was united in marriage with Dale Richard at Jackson, Minn. They spent the first 20 years of marriage in Estherville, moving to Alaska in May, 1965.

Survivors include sons Richard of Anchorage and Steve of Kenai; five grandchildren: Chris, Chad, Beth, Corey and Brett; brothers: Edward and Henry Kroenke of Estherville; sisters: Lorna Loeschen, Estherville; Arlene Johnson, Terril and Marlene Woltz, Waverly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Walter Kronke. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 24, 1996)
