Thomas Albert Johnson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Johnson, was born October 24, 1899 in Palo Alto County, Iowa and departed this life at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville, Iowa on Sunday, January 26, 1969 at the age of 69 years, 3 months and 2 days.

He received his education in the High Lake Township schools.

On August 23, 1933 he was united in marriage to Thelma J. Lowe at the home of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson farmed in the Wallingford area.

He was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church at Graettinger, Iowa.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Thelma; one daughter, Donna Ruth Johnson at home; one brother, Johnnie Johnson of Wallingford, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Riggs of Estherville, and Mrs. Le Roy (Selma) Olsen of Estherville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Andrew.
