Estherville – Services for Bernard Theodore Isakson, 66, of Wallingford, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Estherville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Stan Eyeberg officiating. Interment will be in the High Lake cemetery with the Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Isakson succumbed Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Palo Alto County Hospital. He was born June 25, 1910, in High Lake Township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Isakson. He received his education in rural Emmet County schools.

He was married to Esther Iverson Oct. 26, 1933, and they farmed until 1947. Mr. Isakson was then employed with Boggess Construction Company, Emmetsburg, until retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Suvivors include his wife, Esther; one son, Leon Isakson, Charles City; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Joyce) King, Estherville; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 18, 1976)
