Former Jack Creek Farmer Passes Away
Wallingford, Oct. 5 – Funeral services of LeRoy Wedoo, 42, former resident of Jack Creek township, who died Sunday [October 3, 1937] in a hospital at Rochester, Minn., will be held at 2:30 p. Thursday in the Riverside church a mile east of here.

The body will be brought here from Clear Lake, where Mr. Wedoo lived for several years.

He is survived by his widow and three children, Robert, Viola and Betty. Mrs. Wedoo is the former Hazel Christian of Jack Creek township.

The funeral services will be conducted by the Clear Lake Lutheran minister, assisted by the Rev. Peder Nordsletten of Wallingford. The Immanuel church choir will sing. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 5, 1937)

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Webber drove to Mason City Saturday to visit in the home of Mrs. Webber’s sister, Mrs. Roy Wedoo. They also went to Rochester, Minn., Sunday to learn that Wedoo who has been a patient in the hospital for four weeks had died in the morning. Mrs. Gertrude Webber stayed with the children during their absence. The funeral of Roy Wedoo, former resident of this vicinity will be held Thursday afternoon in the Wallingford Lutheran church.
