James Stall
Chula Vista, Calif. – James Edward Stall, 46, formerly of the Gruver area, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1984 at his home in Chula Vista.

He was born May 30, 1938 at Plover, the son of Vernon and Glenna [Reed] Stall. He attended Gruver School, graduating in 1956. He joined the navy following high school and spent 20 years in service as an electronics technician. Following his retirement from service he moved to Chula Vista.

Stall is survived by his parents, Vernon and Glenna Stall, Spirit Lake; four sisters: Mrs. Eugene (Muriel) Dreke, Sibley; Mrs. Donald (Gladys) Mustard, Gruver; Mrs. Clinton (Helen) Teig, South Sioux City, Neb. and Mrs. Roland (Shirley) Jones, Grand Rapids, Minn.; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held on Nov. 12, at Grace Lutheran Church, Spirit Lake with interment in the Wallingford Lutheran Cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 14, 1984)
