Rustad Services at Wallingford
Lowell Jordan Rustad, 49, Wallingford, died Wednesday night, Oct. 25, 1972, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Wallingford Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Pannkuk officiating. Burial will follow in Wallingford Cemetery, where military graveside rites will be performed.

Mr. Rustad was born Aug. 31, 1923, near Wallingford in Emmet County to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis C. Rustad. He received his education in Wallingford schools. He was married Feb. 25, 1949, to Darlene Hanson in Wallingford and lived all his life in that area. He farmed and during the last three years had been employed by Rohlin Construction.

Having served in the armed forces during World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Wallingford American Legion Post.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; one daughter, Leanne at home; four sons, Ronald of Kenai, Alaska, Donald in service in Germany, John and Michael, both at home; one grandson, Shawn; his father, Lewis Rustad of La Mesa, Calif.; three brothers, Orville of Ben Lomand, Calif., Arnold of San Diego, Calif., and Harold of Wallingford; three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Arlene) Rasmussen of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Wayne (Janice) Shorkenbock of La Mesa, Calif., and Mrs. John (Lois) Hill of San Diego.

Preceding him in death were his mother and one brother.
