Mrs. Wilcox Rites to Be Tomorrow
Mrs. Anna Dale Wilcox, 76, died at 11:15 p.m. Saturday at Holy Family hospital. Death was attributed to complications of advanced age.Mrs. Wilcox was born in Oslo, Norway, Dec. 23, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Anderson. She came to the Minneapolis area with her family at an early age.
She was married to Frank B. Wilcox in Minneapolis on June 26, 1909, and they lived there until Mr. Wilcox retired in 1957. They moved to Estherville in February, 1961.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. A.R. (Marian) Wicks; Mrs. Leo (Muriel) Skibba, both of Estherville, and Marjorie Wilcox of Camorillo, Calif.; two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
She has one sister, Mrs. Clifford Dohstrom, Rush City, Minn.; and a nephew, Dr. Lorne Holmes of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died on June 1, 1962, a son, her parents and five brothers and sisters.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s church with Msg. James H. Duhigg presiding. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery.
Rosary will be said at 8:30 this evening.
Friends may call at Fuhrman funeral home today until time of the service Tuesday morning.
Pallbearers will be Henry Neppl, Edward Rost, Ted Schacherer, Leonard Roberts, James Tholkes and Frank Campisano. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 12, 1964)
