Nels Nickelson, 82, Resident of Armstrong, Dies
Nels Nickelson 82, longtime resident of Armstrong, died yesterday at 5:05 p.m. at Holy Family Hospital here. He had been in failing health for some time.

Born July 31, 1875 in Denmark he came to America in 1892 at the age of 17, and settled in Armstrong. He was a blacksmith there for many years.

Survivors are a nephew, John Nickelson of West Des Moines and a niece in Minneapolis.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Sandin-Fuhrman Funeral Home with burial in East Side Cemetery. Friends may call from this evening until time of services. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 22, 1957)
