Simon Feger’s Funeral and Burial to Be Here
Simon Feger, 53, of Concordia, Kans., died Monday [January 14, 1946] morning at the St. Joseph’s hospital at Concordia. He was born May 24, 1893, at New Berlin, Ill. He lived at Jackson, Minn., for two years and had spent the last 25 years at Concordia where he was deputy sheriff for four years and deputy game warden for eight years. He was a veteran of World War I. He enlisted July 10, 1917, and was discharged Nov. 15, 1919.

Those who survive him are five brothers, Carl, John, Henry and Frank of Jackson, Minn., and Walter of Estherville, and two sisters, Agnes Level of Spirit Lake and Mrs. George Vancura of Eau Claire, Wis.

Rosary will be said at 8 o’clock Friday evening at the Mahlum and Sandin chapel and funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning from the St. Patrick’s church with Father J.J. Keane in charge. Burial will be at the Catholic cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 17, 1946)
