Lifetime Wallingford Resident Dies
Roscelia Peterson, 79, lifetime resident of the Wallingford area, died Wednesday [October 9, 1968] about 1 p.m. in Holy Family Hospital, where she had been a patient for 10 days. Miss Peterson had been a resident at the Good Samaritan Center since Aug. 3, 1966.

She was born March 5, 1889, to Ole and Sara [Sigri] Peterson near Wallingford. She received her education in the Emmet County schools and lived in and around Wallingford until she moved to the Good Samaritan Center, Estherville.

She was a lifetime member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church.

Miss Peterson is survived by one brother, Asher Peterson of Wallingford, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Wallingford Lutheran Church, Rev. John Pannkuk officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Kasa, Nordein Peterson, Harlan Peterson, Gary Peterson, Dean Peterson and Donald Peterson.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home all day Friday and until noon Saturday when the Body will be taken to the church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 10, 1968)
