Mrs. Osher Dies at 31
Mrs. Gary (Lois Elaine) Osher, 31, of Wallingford, died yesterday shortly after 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Hospital at Rochester, Minn. Mrs. Osher, formerly desk clerk at the Hotel Gardtson, entered Holy Family Hospital about two weeks ago and later was taken by ambulance to Rochester. Her death is attributed to a short illness of the past month.Lois Elaine Nauss, was born May 26, 1934, at Algona, the daughter of Albert and Avis Nauss. She moved, as a child, with her parents and family to Estherville and received her education here. She graduated from Estherville high School in 1952.
She was married here Nov. 23, 1952, to Gary Osher of Wallingford. Mr. and Mrs. Osher had spent their married life in Wallingford.
Mrs. Osher was a member of the Wallingford Lutheran church and had been a Sunday school teacher until time of her illness.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Mark Allen, 11; a daughter, Linda Ann, 9; her mother, Mrs. Albert Nauss of Estherville; a sister, Mrs. Daniel (Eloise) Rollo of Atwater, Calif.; and a brother, Lee Nauss of Riverside, Calif.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, her father and a brother.
Last rites for Mrs. Osher are to be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Wallingford Lutheran Church, Rev. Robert E. Glaser officiating. Burial will be in the Wallingford cemetery.
Friends may call at Fuhrman Funeral Home from Wednesday afternoon until Friday morning. The body will be taken to the church in Wallingford to lie in state from Friday noon until time of services.
