Wallingford Woman’s Rites Set
Estherville – Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Osher, 89, formerly of Wallingford area will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Wallingford Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Wesley Brodin will officiate at services, followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery, Wallingford. Friends may call on Thursday and until noon Friday at Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville.

Mrs. Osher died Feb. 26 in a St. Cloud hospital, where she had gone to be near her daughter. She was born July 25, 1884 to Mr. and Mrs. Anders Jensen. She was married on Sept. 15, 1920 to Oliver T. Osher at Estherville Lutheran church. They farmed in High Lake Township, near Wallingford, where they lived until retirement when they moved into Graettinger. About 2 ½ years ago, Mrs. Osher became a resident of Good Samaritan Center, Estherville. She was a lifelong member of Wallingford Lutheran church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Calmer (Arlee) Jensen, and three grandchildren, Cynthia Ann, Craig Allen and Mark David of St. Cloud; four sisters, Mrs. Kate Osher, Graettinger, Mrs. Dora Refsell and Mrs. Amos Egeland, both of Wallingford, and Mrs. Leon Olson of Terril; three brothers, Jim A. Jensen, Austin, Minn., Andrew J. Jensen, West Bend, and Art E. Jensen, Green Valley, Ariz.; also nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant daughter, her parents, one brother and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 27, 1974)
