Wallingford Man’s Rites Wednesday
Albert Madison, 86, Wallingford, passed away Sunday [September 22, 1974] morning at Rosewood Manor. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallingford Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wesley Brodin officiating. Burial will be at the Wallingford Lutheran Cemetery.Mr. Madison was born Jan 9, 1888 at Goldfield, Iowa, to Fred and Cora Nelson Madison. He was educated at Goldfield and married to Lydia Werling Oct. 10, 1912 at Renwick. He had lived in Iowa and Minnesota and lived in Wallingford since 1952.
He was a member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church.
He is survived by four sons; Orville, St. James Minn., Bernard, Owatonna, Minn., Albert Jr., Ringsted, and Edwin, Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Alice) Torreson, Wallingford; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, an infant daughter, one sister and five brothers.
