Lost Their Five Year Old Son
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lowman, of Wallingford, mourn the death of their five year old son, Roy Fremont, who passed away in the Mary Greely hospital at Ames Thursday morning at 9:30. On Thursday the little boy was stricken with an illness that resembled appendicitis. He was rushed to the hospital but nothing could be done for him and he passed away the following Thursday morning. Mrs. Lowman and the children were visiting relatives at Ames when the boy was taken ill. Mr. Lowman, who is state manager for the Enderes Tool co., was working for the company in the vicinity of Ames. The remains were taken to Wallingford for burial. Services were conducted at the Methodist Episcopal church Saturday afternoon, the Rev. Fremont Faul of Graettinger officiating. There was a very large attendance at the funeral. Besides the sorrowing parents the little boy is survived by four brothers and one sister and by two grandfathers and one grandmother. All have the sympathy of their many friends in their sorrow.
