Wallingford – Services for Dena Caroline Lofblom, 91, Estherville, were held today at the Wallingford Lutheran Church. Interment was in Wallingford Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Lofblom died Friday, May 20, 1977, at the Good Samaritan Center, Estherville, where she had been a resident since December, 1973.

She was born April 6, 1886, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kittle Haugen, near Terril. She received her education in Terril schools, graduating from Terril High School in 1903 with the first class to graduate from the school.

She was united in marriage to Henry Lofblom at Terril on May 23, 1917. The couple farmed in the Terril area until retiring and moving to Wallingford in 1949. Mr. Lofblom died in 1970.

Mr. Lofblom was a lifetime member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sherman (Clara) Gunderson, Estherville; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
