Wallingford – Services for Leland S. [Sherman] Larson, 77, will be held at Wallingford Lutheran Church with Pastor Virgil Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1992 at Midway Hospital, St. Paul, Minn.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till time of services at that church.

He was born Oct. 3, 1914 at Wallingford, the son of Halver and Caroline (Syverson) Larson. He was a building contractor in St. Paul many years until retiring. He was a lifelong member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church.

Surivors include two sisters: Hazel Benesh, Waseca, Minn. and Mrs. Charles (Lila) Niermann, St. Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 6, 1992)
