Lars Larson
Lars Larson died at his home on Lincoln street of Bright’s Disease yesterday afternoon after being sick in bed two weeks. Three or four years ago he had a paralytic stroke and has been failing ever since. The funeral service was held at the Wallingford church yesterday and burial made in Wallingford cemetery.

Lars Larson was born in Norway August 13, 1842. He came to DeKalb, Illinois when 17 years of age. Was married at DeKalb March 17, 1870. The family moved to Cass county, Iowa in 1879 [?], and lived there on a farm until – years ago when they came to Emmet county and lived on a farm in High Lake township for three years. Then they moved back to Cass county, -- year ago returned to Estherville and purchased the Wm. Maxwell home on East Lincoln street. A few months – Mr. Larson was very low with pneumonia, but after a hard fight he recovered. He was a member of the Norwegian Lutheran church, a good husband and father and an excellent man.

The immediate family left to mourn are Mrs. Lars Larson, wife, and the surviving children: Peter O. Larson of Gardner, S.D., Mrs. Annie Anderson --, Mrs. Bertha Willey of Sher---, N.D., Lewis, Joseph and Andrew Larson of Wallingford, and Miss Lillian and Edward Larson of this city. ---- join in sympathy to the family in ----.
