Mrs. Larson, 87, Dies at Fargo
Former Resident of Estherville
Mrs. Lars Larson, 87, of Fargo, N.D., will be buried Friday in the Wallingford cemetery following funeral services at 2 p.m. in the Norwegian Lutheran church. She died Monday in Fargo.

Mrs. Larson, a former Estherville resident, moved to Fargo 11 years ago. Before her residence in Estherville, she lived on a farm near Wallingford.

She is survived by eight children, Lewis Larson of Spencer, Joseph of Estherville, Mrs. A.G. Anderson at Grant, Ed of Portland, Ore., Pete, Andrew and Lillie of Fargo, and Ged Willey of Detroit Lakes. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 15, 1934)

Mrs. Lars Larson, 87, Dies Monday
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon in the Norwegian Lutheran church, the Rev. Mathre in charge, for Mrs. Lars Larson of Fargo, N.D., and burial will be in the Wallingford cemetery. Mrs. Larson died Monday at Fargo at the age of 87 years.

Mrs. Larson was a former Emmet county resident having lived in Estherville and Wallingford before moving to Fargo 11 years ago.

She is survived by eight children, Joseph of Estherville, Lewis of Spencer, Ed of Portland, Ore., Mrs. A.G. Anderson of Grant, Pete, Andrew and Lillie of Fargo and Ged Willey of Detroit Lakes, Minn. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, May 17, 1934)

Rites at Lutheran Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Lars Larson, 87, of Fargo, N.D., were held at 1:30 p.m. today in the Mahlum and Anderson funeral chapel and at 2 o’clock in the Norwegian Lutheran church. The Rev. L.A. Mathre was in charge of the service. Burial was in the Wallingford cemetery.

Mrs. Larson, a former Estherville resident, died Monday in Fargo.

She is survived by eight children, Lewis Larson of spencer, Joseph of Estherville, Mrs. A.G. Anderson of Grant, Ed of Portland, Ore., Pete, Andrew and Lillie of Fargo, and Geo. Willey of Detroit Lakes. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 18, 1934)

Obituary of Torborg [Thorborg] Larson
Torborg Peterson Larson was born in Stavaner, Norway, March 17, 1846. She came to this country in 1869, coming to DeKalb, Ill. She married to Lars Larson and they moved to Cass county, Iowa. From there they came to Estherville. Mr. Larson passed away in 1913.

Mrs. Larson continued to live in Estherville until some ten years ago when she moved to Gardner, N.D. here she died Sunday morning, May 13, Mother’s Day at the home of the sons with whom she was living.

She reached the ripe old age of 88 years, one month and 26 days. While at Estherville Mrs. Larson was a member of the Estherville Lutheran church. Since moving to North Dakota she has been a member of Nora Lutheran church near Gardner. As this is near Fargo her former pastor, Rev. S.A. Berge ministered to her in her last illness. She is mourned by the following children; Peter O. and Andrew of Gardner, N.D.; Annie, Mrs. A.G. Anderson of Grant, Iowa; Bertha, Mrs. Willey of Frago, N.D.; Lillian L. of Gardner; Lewis M. of Spencer; Joe of Estherville and Ed of Portland, Ore.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at two o’clock at the Estherville Lutheran church, interment at the Wallingford cemetery beside her husband. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, May 23, 1934)
