Wallingford – Services for Lester Ingvald Larsen, 80, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wallingford Lutheran Church with Pastor Virgil Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He died Thursday, Oct. 17, 1991 at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville from 4-9 p.m. Sunday.

He was born March 17, 1911 at Wallingford, the son of John c. and Johanna (Lavold) Larsen and attended Emmet County Schools. On November 27, 1941 he was united in marriage with Doris Hintz at Estherville. He lived all his life in the Wallingford area. The couple farmed Southwest of Wallingford until retirement then continued to live on the farm.

He was a member of Wallingford Lutheran Church where he had served on various Church boards; also a member of the Wallingford Coop Elevator Board.

Survivors include his wife, Doris of Wallingford; one son, Allan Larsen, rural Estherville; a sister, Mrs. Inga Hubbard, Estherville and sister-in-law, Mrs. Evalyn Larsen, rural Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Trygve. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 19, 1991)
