Crash Victim
Roy Henline Jr., husband of the former Delores Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milford Brown, rural Estherville, has been identified as one of the 65 victims of the turbo prop plane crash which occurred Tuesday in the East River as the big ship approached La Guardia Airport for a landing.

Henline, who lived with his wife and son, Roy III, 1 ½, at Park Forest, Ill., boarded the plane at Chicago, Ill. He was an American Airlines sales representative and was on business trip to New York City.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown have gone to Park Forest to be with their daughter but, according to other members of the family, no further details have been learned. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 5, 1959)

Body is Recovered
The body of Roy Henline Jr., husband of the former Delores Brown of near Gruver, was recovered yesterday from the East River near La Guardia Airport, New York, according to relatives of Mrs. Henline. Henline was one of the 65 persons killed in the crash of a turboprop plane Tuesday night, Feb. 3. The body is to be brought back here with funeral services to be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church south of Gruver. Burial will be at Wallingford. Roy Henline Rites Set for Saturday
Funeral services for Roy Henline, Jr., Park Forest, Ill., husband of the former Dolores Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milford Brown, rural Estherville, were held today in Park Forest, after which the body was to be sent by train to Emmetsburg. Scheduled to arrive in Emmetsburg tomorrow morning, the body is to be brought to the Sandin-Fuhrman Funeral Home here.

A brief funeral service is to be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Sandin-Fuhrmans, the Rev. Benjamin Covet of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in the Wallingford cemetery.

Pallbearers are to be Rudy Christensen, Sylvester Berge, Arnold Hoganson, Laurence Hanson, William Ramsey and Orville Rustad.

Mr. Henline, a sales representative for American Airlines Company, was one of the 65 persons killed Tuesday night, Feb. 3 when an American Airlines turboprop passenger plane crashed in the East River shortly before it was to land at La Guardia Airport, N.Y. He was on a business trip to New York.

Mr. Henline is survived by his widow, Delores, one son, Roy III, 1 ½; his mother, Mrs. Roy Henline Sr., Bronxville, N.Y.; and three sisters, Mrs. Teresa Novak, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Jennie Fripp, Ottawa, Canada; and Barbara Henline, Cleveland, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Henline, Sr. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 12, 1959)

Henline Among Dead in New York Crash
Brodhead – Roy Henline, 30, Chicago, a relative or Mrs. L.G. Berg, was on the ill-fated airliner which crashed in the East River at LaGuardia Field in New York.

His body was recovered Sunday and services held yesterday in Chicago. He was employed by American Airlines as a sales representative.

He married Delores Brown of Estherville, Ia., a niece of Mrs. Berg. His wife, a small son and his mother survive. Burial was at Estherville. (Evening Times, Monroe, WI, February 13, 1959)
