Wallingford Woman Dies
Estherville – Mrs. Lomena Henely, 62, died July 16, Tuesday afternoon from a lingering illness at Good Samaritan Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Furhman Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Wesley Brodin officiating. Burial will be made in Wallingford Cemetery. Friends may call at Fuhrman Funeral Home at any time Thursday until time of services Friday.

She was born March 17, 1912 in Wallingford to Jamie and Tilda Kasa. She received her education in Lamberton, Minn., schools and was married and lived for a time in DeLand, Fla. Mrs. Henely returned to Wallingford in 1963 and was employed as a bookkeeper for Torreson Oil co. until ill health forced her retirement. She was a member of Wallingford Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Beth) Kraft, Estherville; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Jamie Kasa, Wallingford; one sister, Mrs. Gerald (Eunice) Wee, Wallingford. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Gladys. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 17, 1974)
