Daughter of J.O. Kasa, and Well Known in This City – Leaves a Family
The many friends of Mrs. Chas. Heidecker were grieved to learn of her death which occurred at her home in Sherburn, Minnesota, last Saturday morning. Mrs. Heidecker at one time lived in this city and was well and favorably known to a large circle of friends. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Kasa, who now live in Wallingford. She was a sister-in-law and [of] Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heidecker who live on North Seventh street.Mrs. Heidecker was a woman of splendid character and made friends wherever she went. She was a kind and loving mother and will be greatly missed by the three children and husband who are left behind. The immediate cause of her death was pneumonia and her brave fight against this disease was aided by skilled medical service and loving hands, but was without avail. Her Master beckoned and she answered the call. Funeral services were held in Wallingford from the Norwegian Lutheran church of which she was a member, and burial was made in that cemetery. The grief stricken loved ones have the deepest sympathy of Estherville friends in their affliction. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, February 26, 1919)
