Paul Groth from Ohio, Pastor and Mrs. Glen Groth, International Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Lowell Sivertson, Minneapolis, Dr. and Mrs. Wendell Buckly, Moorhead, Minn., and Harlan Peterson, rural Estherville attended burial services for their aunt, Rose Groth, and after the services they were supper guests at the Nordein Peterson home. Others present were Serena Berg, Estherville, Pastor and Mrs. P.L. Mork and Pastor John Pannkuk.

Pastor John Pannkuk conducted the graveside services on Monday, Feb. 1 at the Riverside Cemetery for Rose Groth, Minneapolis, who died of a heart attack at her home in Minneapolis, services were held that forenoon in a Lutheran church in the city; Rose Groth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.K. Groth, was born on the farm that is now the Emmet County Home. About 1912 the family moved to Minneapolis and Miss Groth was Welfare Worker for many years until her retirement. She is survived by three nephews and three nieces. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 16, 1971)
