Mrs. Julie Ellefson Dies at Jackson

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Wallingford Lutheran church for Mrs. Julia [Mickelson] Ellefson, former Wallingford resident, who died at Sunset Good Samaritan rest home in Jackson, Minn. The Rev. Norbert Jolivette will officiate.

In failing health for some time Mrs. Ellefson suffered a stroke last week.

Mrs. Ellefson and her husband farmed in the Wallingford area for many years until her husband’s death when she moved to Jackson in 1951.

Survivors are one son, Elmer, of Jackson, one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at the church from noon Tuesday until time of services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Wallingford. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 24, 1958)
