Wallingford – Mrs. Mary A. Christopher, 89, formerly of Wallingford, died Sunday [June 4, 1978] morning at St. Lucas Care Center, Fairbault, Minn., following a brief illness.

Services for Mrs. Christopher will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, at the Boldt Funeral Home, Fairbault. Pastor Leo Campbell will officiate. Services will also be held in Estherville at 2:30 p.m. on the same day at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be in the Wallingford Cemetery.

She was born June 2, 1889 at Wallingford to Otto and Anna (Rapp) Soeffing, and was educated in the Wallingford school system.

May 9, 1917 she married Albert Christopher at Wallingford. Mr. Christopher passed away Oct. 23, 1959. For the past 15 years Mrs. Christopher has lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Fairbault, Minn.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dale and Dorothy Van Noy, Fairbault, Minn.; two granddaughters and one grandson.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, three sisters and two brothers.
