Wallingford – Funeral services for Andrea Behrends, 11, of Wallingford will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Estherville with Pastor Paul Wiegman officiating. Interment will be held at Wallingford Lutheran Cemetery, Wallingford. She died on Monday, Oct. 13 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Visitation will be held from 3:30 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

She was born on Aug. 6, 1986 in Spirit Lake, the daughter of Brian Behrends and Terrie Small. She received her education in the Estherville schools and currently attended the 6th grade.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Estherville.

She is survived by her parents Brian and Wendi Behrends of Wallingford and Terrie Small of Spencer; sister, Emily Behrends of Estherville; paternal grandparents, Gerry and Sheri Behrends of Wallingford; Steve and Linda Woodley of Estherville; maternal grandparents, Sharon Small of Spencer and Minerva Small, Jr., of Maurice; paternal great-grandparents, Marcella Jellema, of Odessa, Minn.; Orva and Orvis Kaltved of Estherville; Ruth and Lee Knutson of Estherville and Edna Woodley of Estherville; maternal grandparents, Marlin and Amy Maranell of Sanborn and Lenora Small of Sibley.
