Mrs. Ole Anderson [Haldis Paulson] died at her home Sunday [August 7, 1910] morning at 9:35. She was taken sick about two weeks ago with a stroke of paralysis, from which she never recovered. She was past eighty years old and was a kind and loving mother and a devoted Christian. She leaves an aged husband – three sons and one daughter who were all at her bedside, O.O. Anderson, P.S. Anderson and A.J. Anderson, who all reside here, and Mrs. Olga Peterson from North Dakota. The funeral will be held Wednesday at one o’clock from the house and at two o’clock from the Lutheran, when she will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. We sympathize with the family in their hour of sorrow.
Dearest Mother, thou has left us,
And our loss we deeply feel;
But it is God, who has bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.
