Emma Anderson, 82, Wallingford, Dies; Rites Held
Mrs. Emma Anderson, 82, Wallingford, died Saturday [May 31, 1969] at Holy Family Hospital.Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at Wallingford Lutheran church with burial in the Wallingford cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was born Jan. 15, 1887, northwest of Wallingford, the daughter of Severt and Grunda Sevatson. She received her education in Wallingford schools.
She was married Feb. 25, 1909, to O.J. Anderson and they farmed in the Wallingford area. She was a life-long member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Norman Anderson, three grandsons, Loren, Orvis and Norris; one granddaughter, Mrs. Tom Carr (Judith Ann); one great-grandson, Todd Carr; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Wigton of Enumclau, Wash., Mrs. Marva (Gena) Miller, Sumner, Wash.; Mrs. Anna Pecor, San Diego, Calif., and Lena Sevatson, Estherville; two brothers, Lewis Sevatson of Wallingford, and Steven Sevatson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Norman, who died Nov. 6, 1963; her parents; a sister, Mrs. Elma Peterson; two brothers, Martin and Carl.
