Estherville – Services for Doris Stam, 50, of Estherville, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Wiegman officiating. Interment will be in East Side Memorial Cemetery at Estherville. She died Monday at McKennan Hospital at Sioux Falls, S.D.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born March 6, 1945 in Estherville, the daughter of Anton and Laura (Martz) Berven. She received her education in the Estherville Schools. She married Gary Stam on Dec. 31, 1963 in Gruver. The couple made their home in Estherville following their marriage. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Stam of Estherville; one brother, one sister; many nieces and nephews.
