Estherville – Services for Dale Ross, 60, of Estherville, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with the Rev. Larry Willey of United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in East Side Memorial Cemetery, Estherville. He died Tuesday, June 13, 1995 at St. Mary’s Hospital at Rochester, Minn.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at funeral home.

He was born Nov. 7, 1934 at Rolfe, the son of Alfred and Nellie (Walker) Ross and attended country school near Rolfe, later attended and graduated from Excelsior High School in 1953. He lived in the Rolfe area until moving to a farm west of Milford with his parents as a young boy. On Oct. 14, 1956 he was united in marriage with Dorothy Averill at the Methodist Church in Milford. Following marriage the couple moved to a farm near Estherville in 1965 and have farmed near Estherville since.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy, of Estherville, one daughter, Mrs. Marlin (Elizabeth) Mammen of Emmetsburg; three sons: Russell, of Gulfport, Miss., Kerry, of Jackson, Minn. and Jesse, of Dunnell, Minn., and eight grandchildren.
