Estherville – Funeral services for Lillian “Tillie” Wilson, 85, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at First Christian Church in Estherville with the Reverend Will Reger officiating. Interment will be at East Side Cemetery. She died on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003 at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

Lillian Frink, the daughter of Gus and Ellen (Puglsey) Frink, was born January 14, 1918 in Cylinder.

She received her education in the Cylinder schools, graduating from Cylinder High School.

On September 1, 1940, Lillian was united in marriage to Loyd Howard Wilson in Estherville. After their marriage, while Loyd was in the service, Tillie worked in a munitions plant in Muncie, Indiana. When the couple moved back to Estherville, Tillie stayed home with the children. She then went to work at Wadco Foods in Estherville. After their retirement, they enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Loyd died June 7, 1987.

For hobbies she enjoyed bingo, playing cards, gardening and flowers, and bus trips to various casinos. She was a member of the First Christian Church and active in church circle in Estherville, VFW Post 3388 Auxiliary, the Auxiliary of United Transportation Union, Cub Scout Den Mother and Brownie Scout Leader.

Lillian is survived by one son, Gary Wilson and his wife, Yvonne of Spencer, Iowa; Nancy Green and her husband, Bob of Plainview, Nebraska; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She has been preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Luella Warden and Marguerite Reinen; and one brother, Lowell Frink. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 4, 2003)
