Died at her home, 229 North Bartlett, on Sunday afternoon, October 6th, 1918, Mrs. Helen Lawton Haskins. She was born at Rutland, Wisconsin, June 28, 1847. Later she moved to Iowa, and on January 21, 1875, was married to George H. Haskins, who passed away March, 1907. Mrs. Haskins had made her home in Medford since 1884.

She leaves a daughter, Frances R. Haskins, a son, Leon B. Haskins, both of Medford, two granddaughters, Helen Claire and Gertrude, and also two brothers, D.T. Lawton and J.W. Lawton.

Funeral services will be held at the home on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Rev. L. Myron Boozer will officiate.

Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. – Medford (Ore.) Mail-Tribune (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, October 23, 1918)
