F. Trevett, Salesman Is Dead
Passes After Short Illness; Had Resided in Estherville for 40 Years; Burial Friday Afternoon
Fred Trevett, 71, passed away Wednesday evening about 8:30. He had been ill since Friday with kidney complications.

Mr. Trevett was born June 15, 1862 [1872] at North [Nora] Springs, Iowa. He was married to Maude Decker, June 9, 1897. They have lived in Estherville 40 years. Mr. Trevett was a traveling fruit salesman for Gamble Robinson and had for all these years been identified in various ways with retail business here.

Surviving him are his widow; one brother, Ralph of Kansas City; two sisters, Lizzie Dailey of Minneapolis and Ada Trevett of North Springs; one son, George, of Sioux Falls, S.D., and one daughter, Margaret Noble of San Diego, Calif. two children preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 at the home with the Rev. A.G. Riggs officiating and the Rev. G.E. Forssell assisting. Interment will be in the East Side cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, July 22, 1943)
