Woman Dies in Denver
Mrs. George Simpson, a longtime Estherville resident died at 5 p.m. ---at St. Lukes Hospital at Denver, Colo.

Mrs. Simpson, owner of the Simpson Nursing home here for 22 years ------has made her home with her daughter at Aurora, Colo. She had been in poor health since her retirement.

The former Alma M. Carlson was born [June 22, 1892] ---- at Des Moines. She received her education in Des Moines schools.

In January, 19—she was married to George Simpson of Estherville. Her husband died in 1938.

Mrs. Simpson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Ressler [?] at Aurora, Colo., one son George at --, seven grandchildren, one – Mrs. C. L. Gar--- of near Loveland, Colo., and one brother, Emil Carlson at Des Moines.

Services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Home, Rev. H. --- officiating. Burial will be at East Side Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon Wednesday until time of services Thursday. (Estherville Daily news, Estherville, IA, May 31, 1966)
