Estherville – Funeral services for Lillian M. Mauck, 97, of Estherville, are pending at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. She died Monday at the Good Samaritan Center. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 12, 1994)

Estherville – Services for Lillian M. Mauck, 97, of Estherville will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Church with Dr. Mike Thiel officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville. She died Monday, Oct. 10, 1994 at Good Samaritan Center, Estherville.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Henry-Olson-Furhman Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 26, 1896 at Huntington, Ia., the daughter of William and Rosella (Wittenauer) Eisenhower and received her education in the Estherville Schools graduating from high school in 1916. On May 6, 1919 she was united with Clarence (Pat) Mauck in Estherville. She had worked for J.C. Penney Co. and later as a receptionist for the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville. She has been a resident of Good Samaritan Apartments since Feb. 19, 1986 and the Good Samaritan Center since Dec. 8, 1991.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, church organist for many years; Gold Star Mothers; Rebekah Lodge, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Degree of Honor and the Pythian Sisters.

Survivors include sons, Max of San Francisco, and William of Vancouver, Wash.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Helen Eisenhower of Estherville, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Pat, in 1957, a son, Don in WW II, four sisters and three brothers.

The family wishes memorials to go to First Christian Church and the Good Samaritan Center. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 13, 1994)
