Raymon Reese
Estherville – Services for Raymon R. Reese, 67, of Estherville, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Wendel officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. He died Monday, July 12, 1993 at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

He was born Dec. 29, 1925 at Mallard, the son of Howard and Mabel (Jolliffe) Reese and attended West Bend School. On Feb. 4, 1950 he was united in marriage with Marcella Ernest at Algona. The couple farmed near Halfa, Graettinger and Jackson, Minn. for many years. In 1980 he retired from farming and moved into Estherville.

Survivors include his wife, Marcella of Estherville; daughter, Lois Reese, Mankato, Minn.; son, Louis Reese, Superior; grandchildren, Robert and Jeremy; brothers, Melvin of Royal and Lyle of Fort Dodge; sisters: Luella Duis, Mason City; Mrs. Bernice (Iva) Williams, Ayrshire and Mrs. Merle (Verla) Brown, Mallard.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 14, 1993)
