Estherville Man Dies; Services to Be Wednesday
Charles Franklin (Frank) Plymesser, 78, of Estherville, died at 2 p.m. Monday [January 5, 1970] at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital from a hemorrhage.

He was born May 31, 1891, on a farm near Glidden to Mr. and Mrs. John Plymesser.

He lived in the Glidden area until his marriage when he moved to Churdan. He was married March 15, 1911, to Elsie Clark at Jefferson. The couple lived near Churdan until 1918 and moved to the Milford area in 1920. In 1933, they moved to a farm near Estherville and has lived here ever since.

He was a Sunday School Superintendent and taught Sunday School for many years at the United Methodist Church in Estherville and was in charge of the Junior Church.

He is survived by his wife Elsie, two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Bell, Spirit Lake; Mrs. Carl (Marjorie) Haag, Elkton, Minn.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one brother and two daughters,

Services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Estherville with Rev. Dick Pearson officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery. Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home until noon on Wednesday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 6, 1970)
