Estherville – Services for Harris Edward Myers, 67, Estherville, will be10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Estherville, with the Rev. Max Goldman officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery.

Masonic services will be held at 7:30 o’clock tonight at the Masonic Lodge, Estherville.

Mr. Myers died Sunday, Oct. 7, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home Tuesday and at the church prior to services Wednesday.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Orrie Myers, he was born Dec. 6, 1911, at Sioux Rapids. He received his education in Sioux Rapids, Terril and Estherville schools and was married to Pearle Ellwanger on April 22, 1947, at Estherville.

He began farming southeast of Gruver in 1931 and, although moving to Estherville, continued farming the land until his death.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, North Star Lodge 447 AF and AM, Jeptha Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Esdraelon Commandry, Emmet County, Shrine, Order of the Eastern Star and Bethal Shrine.

Mr. Myers is survived by his wife Pearle, Estherville; one son, Wayne Myers, Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Janice) Brewington, Minneapolis, Minn.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 9, 1979)
