Estherville – Mrs. Hannah Christine Myers, 78, Estherville, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 2, at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville. Funeral services for Mrs. Myers were held 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Estherville Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Obert Rust officiating. Burial was at Eastside Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 31, 1899 in Dunnell, Minn., to John and Emma (Carlson) Nelson and was educated in the Dunnell area. On Dec. 22, 1923 she married Roy W. (Turk) Myers at Albert Lee, Minn. She lived her entire married life in Estherville. Her husband was a switchman on the Rock Island line for many years.

She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

Her survivors include one son, James, Monroe, La.; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Mortenson, Estherville, and Mrs. Nels (Hilma) Wallberg and Mrs. Joe (Alvina) McNeal, both of Clear Lake, Wis.

Preceding her in death were her husband in 1970, two brothers and one sister.
