VFW Speaker Urges Stronger Defenses

$30,000 From Estate Will Go to State
Approximately $30,000 will be turned over to the State of Iowa from the Glenn E. Mitchell estate, it was reported here today. Mitchell died Nov. 18, 1962 [1961] at the age of 45 of a heart attack without a will. Max O. Pelzer of Anderson and Pelzer, estate attorneys, said Mitchell died without any known heirs and because no will was made the proceeds from the estate will revert to the state of Iowa and the money will be put into the school fund.
