Estherville – Services for Mildred Evelyn Martinson, 73, will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Pastor Michael Kroona and Pastor Virgil Anderson officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Monday, Feb. 11, 1991 at Holy Family Hospital.

She was born Jan. 5, 1918 at Estherville, the daughter of John and Elma (Sevatson) Peterson and attended Emmet County schools. She lived in Palo Alto County 15 years and the rest of her life in Emmet County. She was employed at P.G. Gray Co. for 10 ½ years, also at Farmers Egg Co. eight years. She was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Clyde (Lorrena) Shottenkirk, Conifer, Colo.; Mrs. William (Opal) Logan, Golden, Colo. and Linda Martinson, Estherville; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971; parents; one granddaughter, one brother, one sister and one great-granddaughter. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 13, 1991)
