Estherville – Albert Herman Linn, 92, Estherville, died at his home Sunday [March 18, 1979] morning.

Services for Mr. Linn will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. Stan Eyberg officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Linn, he was born June 2, 1886, in Norway. He received his education in Norway and came to the United States in 1907, settling at Lewistown, Mont.

Mr. Linn was married to Ida Dalen at Lewistown in 1912, where they lied until moving to Iowa in 1918. The couple farmed in the Estherville and Graettinger area.

He was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Mr. Linn is survived by seven sons, Jalmar Linn, Rolfe, Harry Linn, Colfax, Wilhelm Linn, Dalen Linn, Alfred Linn, Leonard Linn and Godwin Linn, all of Estherville; 28 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, Invald Dalen, Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, four brothers, one sister, one grandson and three great great grandchildren. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 19, 1979)
