Estherville – Services for Arlene Clara Lappegard, 46, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home with Pastor Wilbur Holz officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Friday, Feb. 19, 1993 at Holy Family Hospital.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Monday until time of service.

She was born March 27, 1946 at Estherville, the daughter of George and Marjorie (Strohman) Helmick and attended Estherville Schools. She married Curtis Lappegard May 18, 1962 at Jackson, Minn. She had lived in Graettinger and Armstrong before moving back to Estherville in 1992.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis, Estherville; son Rodney of Spencer, Curtis Jr. of Estherville; daughters: Mrs. Ron (Cheryl) Nissen, Gruver; Mrs. Dan (Connie) Frerichs, Estherville and Mrs. Harold (Brenda) Christensen, Graettinger; three grandchildren; her mother Marjorie Helmick, Estherville; sisters: Mrs. Joe (Lola) Burt, Estherville, Mrs. Casper (Delores) Lappegard, Superior; brothers: Marvin Helmick, Tomah, Wis., David of Graettinger and James of Estherville.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son; one daughter and two brothers. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 20, 1993)
