Estherville – Services for Mrs. Oliver (Regina) Langmo, 96, Estherville, will be held Saturday, 1:30 p.m. at the Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Kunz officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Wednesday, December 14, 1983 at the Good Samaritan Center.Friends may call at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday and until noon Saturday.
Regina Anna Beckel was born August 9, 1887 at Austin, Minn., the daughter of Louie and Anna (Herold) Beckel. She was united in marriage with Oliver Langmo at Austin, MInn. The couple moved to Estherville in 1921 where Mr. Langmo was employed as an engineer on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad.
She was a member of the Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the B.L.F. & E. Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, E.S. Langmo, Marion; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Dougherty, Sauk Center, Minn., and daughter-in-law Juanita Elwood, Miles City, Mont.; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Robert and Clayton Langmo; five brothers and five sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 16, 1983)
