Estherville – Services for Mrs. Augusta (Gustie) Klein, 91, rural Estherville, will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Estherville Lutheran Church with Pastor Kermit Rye and Pastor Arlyn Norris officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1992 at the Good Samaritan Center.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home.

She was born March 18, 1901 at Estherville, the daughter of Carl and Joahanna (Wordelman) Ziemer and attended Dunnell, Minn. and Fairmont, Minn. schools, graduating from Fairmont High School in 1919. She attended Normal Training and Mankato State. She taught school in Emmet County and District No. 69 near Dunnell before her marriage June 4, 1924 to Henry Klein at Dunnell. Following their marriage she lived on the family farm until her death. She was a member of Estherville Lutheran Church, E.I.C.W. and County Line Club.

Survivors include daughter: Mrs. George (Arlen) Weir, Stuart, Fla. and Mrs. Donald (Ardelle) Brown, Cedar Falls; a son Robert Klein, Estherville; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in Jan., 1986; son; granddaughter; one brother; one sister and one daughter-in-law. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 14, 1992)
