Alga Klein
Estherville – Memorial services for Alga Neola Klein, 94, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at First Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. Mike Thiel officiating. Interment will be in East Side Cemetery. She died Wednesday, May 27, 1992 at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home. Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.She was born Jan. 2, 1898 at Denison, the daughter of Charles and Jennie (Green) Iseminger and attended Denison schools. On March 16, 1921 she married Roy Klein at Estherville. The couple farmed southwest of Estherville then moved to Fenton in 1950, and farmed until 1966. She moved back to Estherville following her husband’s death in 1976. She has been a resident at Rosewood Manor since December, 1990. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Wayne, Armstrong; two daughters, Betty Tippie, Estherville and Mrs. Mike (Sharon) Slavik, Springdale, Ark.; sixteen grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sept. 5, 1975; parents; daughter and son-in-law (Iola and W.W. “Bus” Webber); three brothers and five sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 28, 1992)
