Estherville – Funeral services for Omer M. [Marvin] Quastad, 72, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, south of Gruver, with the Rev. Neal Armstrong officiating. Interment will be at Swan Lake Township Cemetery, Estherville [Gruver]. Omer died Saturday, March 24, 2001 at the Fairmont Community Hospital.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville.

Omer is survived by his wife, Lois of Estherville; seven sons, Boyd and fiancée, Dallas Jackson of Estherville, Jeff, Kevin and wife Chris and Greg, all of Estherville; Brad of Loveland, Colo., Dennis and fiancée Trista Rink of Estherville and Joel of Estherville; two daughters, Colleen of Estherville and Diann Minion and husband Daren of Bingham Lake, Minn.; grandchildren, Alex and Levi Quastad and Ciara Minion; one brother, Donald and wife Kathy of Estherville; four sisters, Donna Herum and husband Ron of Estherville, Joan O’Brien and husband Gene of Denver, Colo., Marlys Landmesser and husband Dave of Fontana, Calif. and Janet Doolen and husband Larry of Aurora, Colo. and many nieces and nephews.
