Estherville – Services for Marjorie L. [Louise] Juhl, 79, of Estherville, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John P. Besore, III officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. Interment will be at East Side Cemetery. Juhl died Sunday, July 25, 1993 at Good Samaritan Center, Estherville.She was born Nov. 1, 1913 in Webster City, the daughter of William and Grace (McConnell) Crosby. She received her education from the country schools near Webster City and graduated from Webster City High School. She then attended junior college for two years in Webster City. She married Raymond Juhl on July 8, 1942 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The couple farmed north of the Estherville Airport following their marriage and farmed there until Mr. Juhl’s death on May 9, 1988. She has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center since 1991. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Estherville.
Survivors include eight sons: Gary, Santa Cruz, Calif.; Larry, Engelwood, Calif.; John, Lincoln, Neb.; Robert, Morris, Minn.; Arlan, Springfield, Ill.; Charles, Vinton, IA; Rick, Lacrosse, Wisc.; Kenny, Estherville; three daughters: Mrs. Ray (Pat) Davis, Bollivar, Mo.; Kathy, Ft. Collins, Colo., Mrs. John (Karen) Gavitt, Lauzanne, Switzerland; three brothers: Owen, Webster City; Vistor, Harmony, NC; Don, Cedar Rapids, Ia.; a sister, Mrs. J.R. (Alice) Atanasoff, Monrovia, Md.; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister, Miriam.
